(Video) Is The Exchange TRX’s Premium Toilet Better Than The Gardens Mall & KLCC?

Since its opening, The Exchange TRX has wowed visitors with its state-of-the-art facilities and high-end brands – most recently, its premium toilets.

Twitter user Daniel (@/PUTERA_Miguel) recently shared a look inside the paid premium restroom of The Exchange TRX. The user tweeted, “The best toilet in Malaysia, the toilet at TRX Mall (next to Louis Vuitton & Gucci). This is the paid premium toilet. Btw this toilet uses Diptyque soaps.”. Daniel also added a few photos of the restroom and a short video which gives an overview of the facility.

According to a reply, an entry to the restroom costs RM5, the same as the premier restroom at The Gardens Mall and RM3 more than the premier toilet at Suria KLCC. Besides Daniel, other TikTok users have also shared videos of them checking out the restroom. One video from a TikTok user even shows inside one of the toilet stalls.

Many netizens have since reacted to the toilet, generally amused by the upscale lavatory. Many were unsurprisingly shocked at the price but joked that they would use the restroom to its full potential to get their money’s worth. Many also compared it to the premier restrooms at The Gardens Mall or toilets in overseas shopping centres like Seoul’s Lotte World Mall. However, some also lamented the fate of the restroom in the hands of some shoppers, saying that an irresponsible person might even steal the soap.

Funnily enough, many netizens had one specific question about the premium toilet: does each stall come with a hand bidet? In one of Daniel’s photos, we can spot a hand bidet – but according to the TikTok video, the toilets only have built-in bidets. This discovery led to many “complaints” from netizens, saying that the restroom is not worth RM5 if it doesn’t come with a hand bidet.
