Success doesn’t come overnight, and many people spend years getting to where they are now. Recently, local influencer Imran Bard shared a look into his journey to become a model and how he’s not letting rejection stop him from achieving his dream.
The media personality recently shared a video on his TikTok account which depicts him walking alone in public at night. However, the video appears to be a glimpse into Imran’s daily routine of maintaining his figure while working towards his years-long goal of being a full-fledged model. The 24-year-old wrote in the captions, “Staying fit and motivated, even after being rejected by 10 modelling agencies”.
Imran has long voiced his interest in the fashion industry, previously revealing his goal of being a model. While he doesn’t appear to have a portfolio yet, the influencer does have some experience walking down a runway, modelling for local designer Hatta Dolmat in 2022. Other than that, Imran has done several photo shoots for brands and appeared at events for fashion labels.
Unfortunately, the content creator didn’t elaborate on the rejections and his journey to becoming a model. However, fans and netizens have shown support for Imran, sending him words of encouragement. Many urged him to continue trying and applying for more modelling agencies until he gets accepted. Some also noted that rejection is part of the experience, adding that many renowned models have also been rejected before achieving success.
At the same time, Imran has been focusing on his content creation, becoming a food content creator. For those curious, the 24-year-old is a culinary arts graduate and has often shared bits of his cooking on social media. Imran even has a cooking show on his YouTube channel, where he and a guest cook a different dish each episode. The media personality also has an Instagram account where he shares photos and videos of the dishes that he cooks.
