Model Zahnita Wilson has been doing remarkably well for herself lately. Earlier this year, she treated herself to a new Renault Captur, which she described as an upgrade that made delivering her pies easier. Speaking of pies, she also opened her first physical store for her baked goods business in Taman Equine, Selangor, back in June.
Things were going smoothly until she announced earlier this week that she would be closing the outlet and returning to running her business from home. However, it seems her plans have since changed, and her initial decision may have been a little too hasty. Here’s why she changed her mind:

In her initial announcement on Instagram, Zahnita Wilson shared that she had been feeling overwhelmed with work and could no longer manage running her physical store. “It’s not easy managing everything yourself. There’s so much going on simultaneously, and it’s exhausting,” she wrote. The now-deleted post sparked concern among fans, many of whom were shocked to learn that she would be closing her shop after only five months of operation.
Thankfully, there’s been a change of plans. The model once again took to Instagram to reveal that the outlet will continue operating as usual and explained the reason behind her initial decision to close it down. “I guarantee my bakery will not be closing. My management and team are ensuring that our business operations run smoothly. Thank you very much to my management and team. It was all because I was going through burnout. However, I won’t give up,” she wrote in her post.

Zahnita went on to say that she would be taking some time off to rest before resuming work. “Once again, thank you so much to my supporters. Thanks, everyone, for your uplifting messages,” she added, expressing her gratitude. It remains unclear whether the entrepreneur plans to take a short holiday or delegate certain responsibilities to her staff to ease her workload.
Regardless, it’s reassuring to see Zahnita prioritising both her physical and mental health. It’s true what she said that running a business is not easy, and we hope she continues to take better care of herself so that everything runs smoothly.
