We’re closing in on I.O.I’s (아이오아이) highly anticipated 10th anniversary comeback with more preview drops. However, the group’s latest teaser for their music video is going viral for an unexpected scene featuring two of the members.
On 6th May 2026 (Wednesday), 12am KST, I.O.I released the first teaser for their comeback title track, “Suddenly”. The song is written by member Jeon Somi (전소미) and is one of the six tracks on the group’s comeback album, “[I.O.I: LOOP]”. The album also features a song written by Jung Jinyoung (정진영) and recorded by I.O.I in 2016.

Given the interest in the comeback, many fans were eagerly awaiting the first glimpse of the music video. The 15-second teaser opens with member Kim Do-yeon (김도연) standing alone in a room, before Somi enters through a door and approaches her. Shockingly, the younger member then kisses her groupmate on the lips, leaving Do-yeon visibly taken aback.
The teaser also featured a short snippet of the synth-pop track. Reports noted that Somi’s bold move represents the concept of the title track, heightening the mysterious atmosphere of the comeback. Understandably, the kiss scene sparked a frenzy among fans and netizens, and the teaser soon went viral on social media.
I.O.I’s official social media page would later share the members’ reaction to the first teaser. The girl group appeared excited for the release, even cheering over Somi and Doyeon’s kiss scene. Funnily, the two would reenact their kiss at the practice room in front of the members, prompting more teases and laughter.

Through the Plus Chat communication app, Doyeon revealed that the kiss was her idea, explaining that the scene was initially supposed to depict Somi playfully slapping her. However, she then suggested changing it to Somi kissing her, adding that the members are comfortable enough to be intimate with each other.
I.O.I will make their comeback on 19th May 2026 (Tuesday). The group will also embark on an Asia tour to commemorate their return and anniversary, with the Seoul show taking place from 29th to 31st May 2026 (Friday to Sunday).
