Celebrity entrepreneur Dato’ Seri Vida has not been in a serious romantic relationship for quite some time. While she already leads a fulfilling life with her children, that does not mean she is not open to dating again. Rumours have been circulating that she is romantically involved with Malaysian media personality Roslan Shah, better known as Cik Lan.
She even bought him a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 worth RM7,799. Although Cik Lan has denied the speculation, insisting they are simply long-time friends, questions have arisen about how the entrepreneur’s children might feel if the rumours proved true and the pair were to marry. Earlier this week, during a TikTok livestream, a fan asked Cik B for her thoughts on her mother remarrying. The influencer responded that she does not really mind, as long as the partner does not show any red flags. “I’m not the one getting married. It’s her choice. I don’t really care,” she said, before adding that she would intervene if she felt Cik Lan was not the right husband for her mother.
She went on to say that it is common for people to be blinded by love, but as she has known Cik Lan since childhood, she believes he has shown no ill intentions towards Dato’ Seri Vida. The public figure then turned to her brother, Muhammad Eddie Zuhdie, also known as Kacak, to ask whether he would mind if Cik Lan were to become their stepfather. He admitted that he was not keen on the idea and asked his sister if she felt the same. Cik B replied that it ultimately comes down to their mother’s decision, adding that she has no objections as long as there are no red flags.
In the comments section, fans praised Cik B for her maturity and for being considerate of her mother. Many agreed with her view that there is no reason to stop DS Vida from dating or remarrying, provided her partner treats her well. Others, however, shared Kacak’s reservations, admitting they were not in favour of Cik Lan becoming their stepfather.
As Cik B pointed out, it ultimately comes down to what Dato’ Seri Vida wants. If she chooses to remarry one day and her children give their blessing, then that is all that truly matters.
