The Dewi Remaja pageant is back for its 2023 edition – and that means new faces showing off their skills and talents to win the coveted ‘Dewi Remaja’ title.
While many contestants opt to show off the more common skills like singing and dancing, one contestant decides to woo voters with her imitation skill – specifically animals. In her promotion video, Adriana Bannie showed off her mimicry of a common bird, a crow, a chicken, a cat and a dog.

The 23-year-old’s talent stands out from her fellow ‘Dewi Remaja’ contestants and it did its job to catch the public’s attention, who were left amused by the realistic animal imitations. Many have noted that her adorable talent is reminiscent of K-Pop idols who often do sound imitations when appearing on variety shows.
The video also earned Adriana some potential voters as many netizens showed their support, saying they’ll vote for her because of the video. However, netizens weren’t the only ones amused by the influencer because some also shared the reactions of their pets and young children. Judging by their fascination towards the sounds that Adriana makes in the video, it’s safe to say that this Dewi Remaja contestant is kid and pet-approved.
It’s still too early to tell if Adriana will go far in the competition but we wish her luck and hope to see more of her talents.
