Reconciliation isn’t for everyone, and fans were undoubtedly shocked when actress-singer Diana Danielle announced last month that she is divorcing her husband, actor Farid Kamil, for the second time. While the mother of two has chosen not to explain the situation, some of her peers have shared their thoughts in response to the news of their separation.
Previously, the actress denied speculations that she was still in contact with her former flame, stating that she had given him notice to move out of the house as soon as possible. In an effort to remove her partner from her life, the 32-year-old also burned something that she had received from him.
Over the weekend, on the anniversary of their marriage (3rd November), it was reported by Utusan Malaysia that Farid Kamil sent Diana Danielle letters in an effort to save their relationship. The content of one of the letters reads, “May Allah protect and care for us every step of the way. May we be eternally happy together and reunited in heaven, my wife.”
Unfortunately for him, the Texas-born star expressed her frustration regarding the actor’s attempt on her Instagram Story saying, “If he decides to prolong this divorce process, he is cruel. I’ve spent a whole year trying to reconcile and improve things. I trusted the process and put in effort but now, if he insists on keeping me bound till I’m suffocated, he is truly cruel”.
The “Luar Biasa” songstress emphasised that her intentions are clear and she does not wish to be persuaded to continue the marriage, hoping that her spouse would finally let her go. To reinforce her stance, Diana posted a now-deleted IG Story showing her burning the letters she received from the father of her children, which she described as “letters of deception” accompanied by the song “Lose You To Love Me” by Selena Gomez.
Hopefully, the two will reach an agreement for the sake of their well-being and their children.
