Michelle Yeoh’s Homecoming
After seeing our national treasure gracing the world’s screens throughout the awards season, it was surreal to see Michelle Yeoh in person, breathing the same air as we were! During the press conference with local and international media at Pavilion Hotel in Bukit Bintang, the superstar got emotional when she shared her feelings on the overwhelming Malaysian response to her win. Sime Darby Racing Team Unveiled
We raced over to Porsche’s Ara Damansara showroom for the unveiling of the Sime Darby Racing Team, which will make its racing debut at the 2023 Porsche Carrera Cup Asia. We and a whole bunch of other motorheads had a first look at their racing vehicle – the 911 GT3 Cup car – which was emblazoned with batik-inspired livery (gorgeous!) We also had a chance to meet team driver Nazim Azman, and chat with the CEO of Sime Darby Auto Performance, Christopher Hunter; and the MD of Porsche Motorsport Asia Pacific, Alexander Gibo. Our hearts were racing!

Hennessy X.O x Kim Jones
In celebration of the blend’s impact on culture, Hennessy collaborated with global fashion designer, Kim Jones, for a Hennessy X.O limited collection – and we had a front-row seat to the viewing! The collection features the Hennessy X.O Masterpiece, the Hennessy X.O Limited Edition bottle, and a fashion statement – the HNY Low sneakers – all designed by Kim Jones as part of the collaboration. Hennessy X.O and Kim Jones explore the interconnection of art, fashion, and culture and together, they aim to break new ground and redefine the standards of luxury craftsmanship.

Aquaria KLCC’s Fintasticnya Raya
Mermaids are only ever seen in movies and heard of in fairytales. But we got to see several up close at Aquaria KLCC recently! Part of Aquaria’s Raya celebration, we were treated to a mermaid show, as well as fascinating traditional Malay dances. The oceanarium is in the middle of its Fintasticnya Raya campaign, which runs from now to 2nd May 2023. Experience mesmerising performances, along with complementary activities and showcases when you visit Aquaria KLCC today!

Doraemon ANESSA Comes To Town
We attended the launch of ANESSA’s limited edition designs of its products with the popular characters Doraemon and Dorami – and it was so much fun! The limited-edition sunscreen is available at the Doraemon Anessa Playland pop-up in front of Fahrenheit88, from now till 2nd May (10am-10pm). For every purchase, you’ll be entitled to play the claw machine to win some mini’s too!

BookXcess Has A Glow-Up
If you’re feeling stressed out, it might be time to take a breather at BookXcess, located atop The Gardens Mall at The Rooftop! We got the opportunity to tour the bookstore today with BookXcess founder, Andrew Yap, and we have to say, it certainly lives up to BookXcess’s brand of offering a space for one to relax while cultivating curiosity and adventure.
Book lovers will delight in being able to nestle among the shelves while enjoying the peaceful atmosphere that the bookstore has to offer, further helped by its surrounding lush greenery and the scenic view of Kuala Lumpur. Adults can enjoy their own little book haven, while kids have their own place to explore, which allows them to cosy up somewhere with a book, or mess about in the offered play area. Of course, don’t forget to stop by Red Red Botak Head for a bite when you’re peckish!

We got to witness the official launch of Fii Beauty, Singapore’s emerging pragmatic beauty brand!
