When it comes to driving on the road, it’s important to always be aware of one’s surroundings and be courteous towards other road users. However, there will always be a certain species of drivers that can drive you up the wall.

Over the weekend, a video showing a female Preve car driver behaving rudely to another driver in Kuala Lumpur went viral on social media. The 17-second clip was uploaded by a Twitter user named Asyraf Rosli. “I thought I’d get a mini love (finger heart) from her for giving way to her,” he tweeted. Instead, the woman was seen flashing her middle finger at him, not once but three times!

As seen in the dashcam footage, the video owner’s car almost got involved in an accident when the Preve car was leaving the Sungei Wang Plaza parking lot in Bukit Bintang. The driver then gave way to the Preve car driver to make her exit first. Instead of thanking the driver, the woman in hijab responded by flipping him the bird.

The Twitter post was flooded with tons of reactions from netizens on social media. Most of them criticised the female driver for her unethical attitude towards the other driver. “Instead of apologising to the driver, she behaved like a gengster. What a prude!” one commenter said, while another wrote, “People nowadays have no sense of shame and respect towards others. Very bad attitude.”

Despite receiving immense attention online, the video was later removed by Asyraf. That said, who do you think is at fault – the Preve driver or the dash cam owner?
