While Faye Wong (王菲) and Nicholas Tse (谢霆锋) prefer to keep their relationship private, that doesn’t mean the pair aren’t each other’s biggest supporters. Recently, the couple showed off their strong bond at Nicholas’ concert, delighting fans with their romantic interactions.
Over the weekend, Nicholas performed at the Xi’an Olympic Sports Centre Stadium as part of his “Evolution Nic Live” concert tour. As a show of support, Faye also attended the concert, seated in one of the venue’s private boxes. For most of the evening, the 56-year-old kept a low profile, dressing in a dark top and green trousers and sporting a face mask.
However, once Nicholas began performing his 2001 hit, “Jade Butterfly (玉蝴蝶)”, Faye removed her face mask and enthusiastically cheered on her boyfriend. Fans noted that the singer-actress was even singing along. For those unfamiliar with “Jade Butterfly”, it’s widely considered Nicholas and Faye’s love song as the actor reportedly composed the track for her.
Some fans even claimed that Nicholas kept glancing towards Faye’s box when performing the song. When the crowd started chanting the actress’s name, the 45-year-old couldn’t hide his smile. Faye also reportedly reacted to the cheers, briefly leaning out of the box to wave at the fans who called out to her.
Despite keeping their relationship largely private, this isn’t the first time Faye has made a notable presence at Nicholas’ concert. In late May, the star attended one of her partner’s concerts in Beijing, sparking excitement among fans. At one point, the usually composed star got bashful after an interaction with Nicholas, prompting coos from netizens.

In case you’re wondering, Nicholas and Faye’s romance began in 2000, which led to an on-and-off relationship that lasted until 2003. The two would later marry their respective partners and subsequently divorce. The couple rekindled their relationship in 2014 and have been going strong ever since.
