Since her solo debut in 2019 with the single “Birthday”, Korean singer Jeon Somi (전소미) has became one of the most recognised K-pop singer in this current generation. Her songs have always received a lot of of hype and along with her cheerful and open personality, many can’t help but fall in love with this beauty.
Recently, SOMI was one of the artists lined up for the So Wonderful Festival in Taiwan. She gave the audience a memorable night with her songs, “XOXO”, “Birthday”, “What You Waiting For”, and “Dumb Dumb”. In between, she even spoke some Chinese phrases she had learned when interacting with the crowd.
Many netizens have been sharing recordings of SOMI’s strong and amazing performances during the festival online. Other than her ‘fancams’, one particular video of hers during the festival caught netizens attention. In the video, it shows the singer talking to the audience and putting back what seemed like a sheet of paper into her undergarment.
After one of her performances, SOMI shared that she had something prepared for this festival, then proceeded to pull out a sheet of paper from her inner garment. Upon seeing this sight, netizens screamed in excitement.
Turns out, the sheet of paper is a cheat sheet written by SOMI so she could interact with her Taiwanese fans in Chinese. She shared that some of the phrases she had on the paper were “Make some noise!”, “It’s so hot!”, and “Are you guys ready?” Netizens burst into laughter when the singer read out the Chinese phrases she wrote down.

Fans are currently anticipating SOMI’s summer comeback. It’ll be her first release since 2021’s “XOXO”.
