THEBLACKLABEL’s co-ed group ALLDAY PROJECT (올데이 프로젝트) has faced many controversies since their debut, including allegations of cultural appropriation and nepotism. Recently, fans accused the group of mistreating and ostracising one of their members.
On 26th November 2025 (Wednesday), ALLDAY PROJECT released the tracklist for their upcoming self-titled EP. The album contains six songs, with some of the tracks being unit tracks. However, fans immediately noticed that Youngseo (영서) was the only member without a unit song or solo, sparking criticism towards THEBLACKLABEL for leaving out the idol.

Following the tracklist release, the public brought up past instances, which they claim prove that Youngseo is being mistreated and ostracised from the group. One of the “proofs” was a past show appearance in which Annie (애니) seemingly made fun of Youngseo’s dressing habits, saying it doesn’t match the group’s image.
However, some defended Annie, saying the clip was taken out of context and was just for the show. Despite the clarification, fans continued to accuse the group of excluding Youngseo. They also brought up instances of the other four members spending time together without her, like going shopping or to concerts.

For those wondering, Youngseo was initially meant to debut with ILLIT, but left the group and agency before their official debut. She then signed with THEBLACKLABEL and subsequently debuted with ALLDAY PROJECT. Given the difference in the groups’ images, many were surprised when Youngseo was announced as a member of the co-ed group.
While there’s no irrefutable proof of mistreatment, and many say the members have a good relationship, fans hope that Youngseo receives equal opportunities as her teammates. What are your thoughts on this? Here’s a clip of Annie and Youngseo:
