When travelling to Japan, one of the more popular souvenirs in recent years has been FamilyMart’s Convenience Wear socks. However, you no longer need to fly to get the iconic sock because they’re now available in Malaysia!
Earlier this week, FamilyMart Malaysia teased a new product launch, hinting in the post, “Your new everyday essential is about to step in.” It didn’t take long for fans to figure out that the launch in question was for the convenience store’s iconic Line Socks, which feature the brand’s signature colours. On 5th November 2025 (Wednesday), FamilyMart announced that the socks are now available in stores nationwide.
FamilyMart described the socks as “simple comfort, made better”. The garment is made of cotton and polyester and features cushioned soles for comfortable wear. The breathable fabric and added antibacterial deodorant provide all-day freshness. Each pair of socks costs RM14.99 and there are two sizes available: 22 – 25 cm and 25 – 28 cm.
The Line Socks are just one of the garments sold under FamilyMart’s Convenience Wear clothing line. In fact, the company recently launched its first clothing store in Tokyo, offering over 100 items, from socks to scarves. Another popular item that is highly raved about amongst fashion lovers is the basic white T-shirt.
Unfortunately, there’s no news on whether FamilyMart plans to bring more Convenience Wear items to Malaysia. However, there are other exclusive collabs worth checking out! Here’s a look at the socks in action:
