When you’re at a concert and listening to your favourite singer perform, it can be rather emotional. However, at EXO (엑소) Suho’s (수호) recent concert in Kuala Lumpur, it was the idol who started tearing up from hearing his adoring fans sing along to an EXO song.

The K-pop idol recently performed at his first solo concert in Malaysia, “SU:HOME In Kuala Lumpur”. Suho performed many of his solo songs during the concert, but during the performance of EXO’s hit song, “The First Snow (첫 눈)”, the 33-year-old started to tear up. As shown in a fan-taken video, Suho was performing the chart-topping song before the crowd began singing along. The singer appeared so touched by the moment that he started tearing up and even covered his face with his hand.

Upon seeing Suho get emotional, many fans in the concert hall also started to get teary-eyed. Some fans tried to comfort the soft-hearted singer, yelling “We love you” from the crowd. The EXO leader also got emotional when performing “For You Now (너의 차례)”, which was a song written for his friend, the late Jonghyun of SHINee. However, fans noted that he quickly regained composure because he could joke around and tease the crowd about their singing skills after that emotional scene.

It’s unsure why Suho became emotional from singing “The First Snow”, but some fans suggested it was because he was moved by the love and support he received from EXO-Ls. On the other hand, many easily understood why he became sentimental during “For You Now”, given that Suho wrote the song for Jonghyun. Regardless, many fans started sharing words of comfort on social media to show their love and appreciation for the EXO vocalist after his performance.

We hope Suho only cried tears of joy and not sadness during his performance in Malaysia. The vocalist did a great job on his first solo concert here – and we hope he returns soon.
