As the saying goes, “When in Rome, do as Romans do”. So it’s important to behave and respect the law of the country you’re visiting. Sadly, there have been many cases of tourists from abroad misbehaving and causing trouble for the locals like the time a foreign man lashed out at the AirAsia flight crew and captain due to a slight delay.

This latest incident involving foreigners was not aggressive but it was, however, revolting. Watch as this woman walked into a homestay area and pooped in the middle of the road in broad daylight (Viewer discretion advised):

A video, originally posted on the Info Cameron Highlands Facebook group, of a disgusting incident has been circulating social media since yesterday (Tuesday, 2nd January). The CCTV footage showed two foreign women walking into a homestay area at Kea Farm, Cameron Highlands. Shockingly, one of the women began pulling her pants down and squatting down to defecate in the middle of the road.

Her friend then rushed to stand behind her with a piece of cloth to shield her from being further exposed. After finishing her business, the woman stood up, pulled her pants back up and walked away, leaving her excretion in full view at the homestay area. As seen in the timestamp of the CCTV footage, the incident happened on New Year’s Eve at 9:50am.

After the post went viral, netizens, of course, were utterly disgusted by the woman’s actions. Many slammed the foreigners for being shameless and could not even comprehend the behavior of grown adult. A few suggested that the woman should’ve tried knocking on one of the doors at the homestay to permission to use their restroom.

Some shared similar encounters of finding human excretion when they were out and about. According to a report by Kosmo, netizens on the original (now-deleted) Facebook post also commented that these women’s behaviour would tarnish the image of other well-behaved tourists from China.

There is currently no information if the owner of the homestay filed a report against the two individuals but since the CCTV footage was posted publicly, it can be assumed that they’ll probably do something to prevent something like this from happening again.
