You know what’s one of the most fun things about theme parks or carnivals? Haunted houses. The thrill of getting scared by someone (or something) lurking in the dark. Horror fans are almost always up for the challenge to go through these haunted houses, whether alone or with friends. But if you’re easily weak at the knees whenever you’re scared, then perhaps try driving through instead.

Yes, that’s right. Do you dare to experience a haunted drive-thru? Think of it this way, at least you’re safe in your car but where’s the fun in that? Keeping your windows open adds more to the suspense of something popping out to give you a fright. If you’re up for the challenge, then head on down to Melaka.

TikTok user @gadispurba, or Shasha Rose, posted a series of videos on her profile telling of her experience going through the first haunted drive-thru in Malaysia located in Alor Gajah, Melaka. All videos are currently going viral with the 2nd video already reaching 3.6 million views.

In the most viewed video, we can see it was Shasha and her friends’ turn to experience the drive-thru. The man standing at the entrance set the scary mood by advising the visitor to not disturb or greet if they see something that shouldn’t be there. Moments after entering the dark woods, they were greeted by a masked figure going around the car and opening the bonnet door to attempt to climb in.

In the 3rd video, we can immediately hear Shasha screaming in fear when a hand of a Pontianak reached in through the window. As the video progressed, a Nenek Kebayan joined the Pontianak in scaring the terrified guests by also reaching in through the window. Netizens were very much entertained by the videos with commenting that they’re looking forward to try the drive-thru themselves.
