Those familiar with Malaysian media personality Azwan Ali, known fondly as Diva AA, will know he doesn’t sugarcoat his words. However, his recent rant about a McDonald’s customer prompted a mix of reactions from netizens.
The controversial celebrity recently shared a video of himself on his TikTok. The 2-minute clip shows Diva AA queuing up at a McDonald’s drive-thru. However, it seems that the customer in front of him was taking too long with their order, causing him to rage in his car. The media personality also hurled some curse words towards the unknown customer, berating them for being too slow.
However, the customer wasn’t the only one Diva AA was angry at. Upon reaching the ordering station, the 59-year-old immediately scolded the McDonald’s staff. Despite the staff explaining that she was the only one working, Diva AA continued to tell her off for making the other customers wait. It’s also worth noting that his tone of voice was rather harsh and likely caused the staff to be uncomfortable.
The video was later reposted on Twitter. Many netizens have since reacted to the video and Diva AA’s rant, but the responses were mixed. Some netizens seemed entertained by the crude remarks from the star’s mouth. Others joked that his cursing could be made into a soundboard for memes. Many also understood Diva AA’s frustration about slow customers, saying they’ve also had their share of being angry when someone takes too long to order at a restaurant.
However, many noted that Diva AA didn’t have to throw a fit, arguing that it’s normal to wait at F&B establishments. Others also mocked him for not directly confronting the customer who was taking too long, instead getting angry at an innocent staff member doing their job.
