Speaking to Gempak, he explained that he did not feel affected by the negative remarks because the event was a private show for which he received substantial payment to perform as Cita Citata, a popular Indonesian singer. The celebrity noted that this experience of wearing such flamboyant clothing was new to him, and, while some may judge him, he emphasised that he is merely doing his job.
He urged netizens to mind their own business, highlighting that he earns a significant income from various avenues, including private performances, Instagram reviews, and podcasts that do not require payment. He expressed contentment with his current means of sustenance, especially since he has not been called back by television stations for work.
