At many concerts, cameras are often directed at the audience and projected onto the big screens. This usually excites fans, who scream, jump, or even dance with joy when they see themselves on screen. Sometimes, during love ballad performances, the cameras zoom in on couples in the audience, encouraging them to share a kiss as a sweet celebration of their love.
However, not everyone is keen to appear on the big concert screens, as some may feel uncomfortable, while others might not supposed to be there. During a recent Coldplay concert, a certain CEO was allegedly caught cheating on his wife with a colleague when the cameras landed on them during the show’s “Kiss Cam” segment. Here’s what happened:

Coldplay recently performed in Foxborough, Massachusetts, and during the show’s “Kiss Cam” segment, a couple quickly hid themselves after being projected onto the big screen. Frontman Chris Martin, puzzled by their reaction, playfully quipped, “Either these two are having an affair or that they’re very shy”. He then expressed remorse over what happened, saying that he hopes the band didn’t do anything wrong.
A TikTok video of the awkward moment quickly went viral, and as it turns out, the couple in question were identified as Astronomer CEO Andy Byron and HR chief Kristin Cabot. Fans reportedly recognised the pair and began speculating that they were having an affair, based on their visibly uncomfortable reaction to being shown on the “Kiss Cam”.

Many began flooding the Facebook account of the CEO’s wife, Megan Kerrigan Byron, leaving comments and messages to inform her of her husband’s alleged infidelity. In addition, several individuals claiming to be employees of the company came forward to share their negative experiences working under Andy Byron.
At the time of writing, there has been no official statement from Astronomer regarding the alleged affair between the two colleagues. Coldplay has also yet to comment on the incident, but as the band technically did nothing wrong, it’s perhaps best to let fate run its course. If the affair turns out to be true, then let’s hope the best for the loved ones who are affected by this.
