When there’s a hot issue, you can bet Caprice will have something to say about it. We’ve had him criticising the infamous ‘Crackhouse couple’ for setting up a crowdfund for their RM40K bail after they got arrested. The rapper also once proposed a special unit to investigate and help track down those practicing black magic.

This time, the father-of-one is doing something a little more than just giving his thoughts on a trending topic. The subject on the banning of tobacco in Malaysia has been ongoing for the longest time and Caprice has expressed his support on the recent GEG bill. But his new proposal may have divided netizens’ opinions on whether or not it’s a good idea.

Malaysian rapper and entrepreneur Caprice is well known for giving his opinions on certain trending topics and he has also shown effort whenever netizens reach out to him for help. Recently, the 33-year-old gave his full support on the banning of tobacco in Malaysia, even going as far to Parliament in order to hand over a memorandum on the GEG bill.

In a video he posted yesterday (Monday, 1st August), the music producer said that the memorandum has been successfully passed over to the Minister of Health where he will then look through and reassess the GEG bill. Caprice was grateful that the trip to Parliament was a success. He then went on to say that to further ensure the safety of Malaysians, especially the youth, the country should ban the sale of alcohol.

The rapper showed examples of countries that banned alcohol and even suggested that only 1 shop should be allowed to sell alcohol to non-Muslims. His new proposal was met with mixed reactions and opinions from netizens. Judging from the comment section of his video, the majority seem to support his proposal in regards to the banning of alcohol while others have suggested that Malaysia should have better regulations instead of banning it entirely.

Those who support and those who are against the banning of alcohol have valid points. All these opinions and suggestions should be taken into consideration before making a final decision. Whatever the case, we hope that future of this country will be better and safer for the younger generation.
