It’s been almost three years since we last saw the boys together, and now the BTS (방탄소년단) reunion is finally here! Yesterday (1st July, Tuesday), the legendary boy group went live on Weverse to update ARMY (BTS fans) on their plans after completing their military service.
During the livestream, the seven members shared silly moments that reminded fans they are still the same group that started years ago. However, they have grown and become more refined since their time in active duty. They took their time to speak directly with fans, expressed deep gratitude for ARMY’s long wait, and promised that this new chapter will be worth every moment.
With the announcement of a comeback in March 2026, fans have eagerly awaited any news hinting at an earlier return. The group confirmed they will begin filming for the album in July in the United States. All members will work together closely to create it. “Since it will be a group album, it will reflect each member’s thoughts and ideas,” RM (랩몬스터) said during the livestream. He added, “We’re approaching the album with the same mindset we had when we first started.”
Amid their playful banter, RM promised fans an exciting world tour set to begin shortly after they release their upcoming album. Meanwhile, Jimin (지민) expressed his joy about reuniting with the group. He reassured fans that everyone is fully committed to working hard on the album. Their enthusiasm shone through, and the group’s energy made it clear that something special lies ahead.
Additionally, BigHit Music revealed BTS will release their first live album on 18th July (Friday). This album will feature live performance recordings of hit songs such as “Dynamite,” “Life Goes On,” and “Butter,” along with 19 additional tracks. The package will also include special items like a photobook, concert VOD content, and more, so fans have plenty to look forward to.
As anticipation continues to build, the members asked fans to stay patient just a little longer. They emphasised that this comeback means as much to them as it does to the fans. By pouring their hearts into the music and tour preparations, they are creating something unforgettable. It won’t be long before the wait finally ends.
