Swifties from all over the world, especially those from Southeast Asian countries, have travelled all the way to Singapore to catch at least one day of the 6-day Taylor Swift‘s The Era’s Tour concert experience. Previously, it was suspected that BLACKPINK’s Lisa was going to attend one of the American superstar’s shows as she was spotted in Singapore very recently.
BLINKs and Swifties were right as the K-pop idol was there among the sea of fans having the time of her life. Held in the neighbouring country’s National Stadium, she attended the second day (Sunday, 3rd March) of the highly-anticipated show but that wasn’t the only exciting thing to have happened.
Shortly after the concert ended, fans caught sight of the BLACKPINK member at the famous Haidilao restaurant in Marina Square with her team and some friends. One of the restaurant’s staff, who was a fan of the K-pop idol reportedly exchanged friendship bracelets with her, according to a TikTok video posted by Mothership.
This exchange is actually a tradition at every Taylor Swift concert where members of the audience swap friendship bracelets with each other during the song “You’re On Your Own, Kid.” Other fans who have seen or approached Lisa yesterday noted that she was kind and friendly.
Earlier that evening, Lisa did not attend the Taylor Swift concert alone as she was seen with fellow Thai K-pop idol Sorn and even Sabrina Carpenter, who has been opening for the country-turned-pop singer throughout this tour. It seems that the concert organisers were well aware of their VIP guests as BLACKPINK’s “Pink Venom” was being played at the venue while waiting for the show to begin.
The founder of LLOUD Entertainment apparently also participated in the bracelet-exchanging tradition with other members of the audience. Fans who were there last night were truly fortunate to not have only seen Taylor Swift live in concert but to meet and even exchange friendship bracelets with one of the biggest stars in the K-pop industry.
