With many third-generation idols returning to the scene after spending time abroad and in the military, fans are in for a treat, as comeback albums and tour dates start dropping each week. K-pop girl groups are usually the main focus for the biggest comebacks, and with these powerhouses returning this week, you won’t want to miss this.
BLACKPINK (블랙핑크) and TWICE (트와이스) have both announced their new track release dates for 11th July 2025. BLACKPINK is set to release their new music video for their comeback track, “JUMP”, and TWICE will be releasing their new 4th studio album “, THIS IS FOR”.
BLACKPINK performed “JUMP” on the opening night of their “DEADLINE” world tour at Goyang Stadium, Seoul. With fans already fawning over its catchy anthem, an ode to a girls’ night, BLACKPINK recently (7th July 2025) dropped their teaser for the song set in cityscapes and glamorous billboards of the members. The teaser teased an industrial, edgy and high-energy feel to their comeback, seemingly saying, “Blackpink is definitely in your area”.
Additionally, TWICE’s cryptic comeback features dazed members in the backdrop of a “Severance-esque” concept. The eye-catching surrealism concept feels almost like a fever dream, as JYP Entertainment rolls out the big guns for their album teasers, as each track deserves its own. The 14-track album marks the group’s comeback after almost two years.
