Adjusting to life after divorce is never easy, especially when children are involved. Actress-singer Bella Astillah has certainly endured a lot of hardships since her separation from ex-husband Aliff Aziz after he was accused of having an affair with his then-co-star Ruhainies.
As a mother of two young ones, the 30-year-old has done her best to ensure her kids are well taken care and it’s evident that her efforts were not in vain. However, many have been wondering about a certain rumour regarding Bella keeping her children from seeing Aliff’s parents. Here’s what the star has to say:

As reported by mStar, Bella Astillah has apparently forbidden her two children, Ayden and Ara, from seeing Aliff’s parents. The songstress clarified that she has only limited their interactions with each other to avoid things from escalating to something worse.
“These things take time and I wanted to make sure that everything has calmed down before we proceed further. I don’t want my kids, especially my oldest Ayden to be confused about what’s going on. Insyaallah, things will be alright; slowly but surely, but not anytime soon,” she told reporters before revealing that there was a video call incident during Hari Raya that led to her decision to restrict her ex-in-laws’ access to her children.
According to the “Tenang” artist, Aliff’s parents alleged that Ayden appeared stressed during the video call because he was worried about his father. The singer denied that. When asked if her ex-husband’s family had been trying to contact her children since the incident, Bella replied that she had not received any messages from them on her personal phone or social media accounts.

During the same interview, Bella also responded to the news about Aliff Aziz reportedly becoming a Muslim missionary in Singapore after videos of him and preacher Ustaz Haji Taufik went viral on social media. “I haven’t heard anything about it so I’m not going to comment ’cause we never know a person’s true intentions. If it is true and that he wants to become a better person, then I can only pray and hope the best for him,” she said.
