It’s not easy to put up a strong front when your personal life is falling apart. It’s no secret that pretending to be okay and faking a smile in public can be mentally and physically exhausting. Some have gotten used to it, to a point where it has become second nature but over time it will take a toll on one’s mental health.
We tend to forget that celebrities also have bad days. Although they’re allowed to express themselves like everyone else, they still have to maintain a public persona in front of the camera. Mas Idayu recently posted something on her Instagram that caused fans to worry for her well-being and her relationship with her husband. Here’s what happened:

Malaysian veteran singer Mas Idayu has been active in the entertainment industry since 1991 and has had many ups and downs throughout her professional and personal life. The 50-year-old recently posted a black-and-white video of actress and host Tamera Mowry crying on “The Real” after being asked how she was to which she answered, “I’m okay”.
“Behind every smile and laugh…. I’m okay…..🙂🙃,” captioned the “Dahlia Hati” songstress. Without any further explanation, the emotional post of the American actress left fans feeling concerned for the singer’s current well-being. Many took to the comments to ask the dangdut artist how she was doing with some giving her words of comfort and encouragement.
The mother-of-one replied to some of those comments with, “I’m okay”, while still refusing to elaborate any further on what was troubling her at that time. Some were left confused about the sad post as Mas Idayu had just celebrated a happy occasion as she tied the knot with TV3 executive producer Muhammad Sufian Che Isa earlier last month.
Despite the positive comments from fans, rumours apparently began spreading that there was trouble in paradise for the newly married couple. Mas Idayu quickly addressed those rumours in a video post yesterday (Sunday, 16th October). “I’ve shared with you all the happy moments! For all the things I don’t share, don’t just assume. I’m okay!” the singer stated. She then added that she and her new husband are doing just fine and that she’s very happy.
For your information, her marriage to Sufian is Mas Idayu’s second marriage after separating from her ex-husband actor Aman Graseka, whom she had a daughter with, back in 2006. Here’s the video of her addressing the rumours:
