B.I (비아이)’s much-anticipated “Hype Up Asia Tour” finally took place in Malaysia! Ever since the announcement a few months back, IDs (B.I fans) have been patiently waiting to get their hands on the tickets and approximately 3000 concert-goers had the best time partying it out at the show held at Mega Star Arena last night (Sunday, 30th June).
The rapper performed many of his hit songs including “illa illa”, “Keep The Fire Alive”, “BTBT” and his latest “Tasty”! The concert definitely lived up to its name as both the idol and fans kept the energy going and the venue shaking throughout the whole night. One of the highlights of the show was when he brought up some lucky fans to join him on stage during the encore!
At one point during the long encore, B.I, real name Kim Hanbin (김한빈), noticed some IDs dancing their hearts out in the audience and invited them to come up on stage to dance with him. The group of friends excitedly went up where they performed “Tasty” alongside the artist himself. The crowd went wild as these extremely lucky fans got the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to go up on stage and perform with a K-pop idol!
As soon as the performance was done, the youths took a group selfie with B.I before exiting the stage. The moment was captured by concertgoer @/afiqnuradli who posted it on his Twitter account which has since gone viral. According to some audience members, those lucky fans were already enthusiastically dancing in the standing zone to the DJ’s playlist before the concert even started, proving that they definitely earned their spot on stage.
At the time of writing, there has been no information on the lucky fans’ identities or where they’re from but based on our research, this is the first time B.I had brought fans up on stage for his “Hype Up Tour” and it happened in our very own country! The last time the idol invited fans on stage to perform with him was during the European leg of his “BTBT Tour” last year.
