Recently, an old slow-motion video of Sophia Albarakbah was re-posted on TikTok by a netizen which showed the actress walking at the beach during her holiday in Kuala Langat. In the 22-second clip, the ‘Ku Akad Kau Dengan Bismillah’ star was seen walking barefoot in the sand before taking a dip in the clear ocean. The TikTok post, which was meant to show her enjoyment, received negative reactions from netizens because of her swimming attire.
While the 30-year-old was only shown from the back, netizens got enough glimpse to speculate that she was wearing a bikini (which is prohibited for Muslim women as the attire exposes too much bare skin) underneath her blue cardigan. Many questioned if the Malaysian celeb is really a Muslim due to her sexy swimming outfit. Others joked that she was “competing” with Kasih Iris Leona as the two received criticisms for the same reason.

Although many assume that the clip of Sophia Albarakbah in her sexy swimming attire is recent, the 30-year-old clarified that the TikTok clip is an old video that isn’t even on her social media. In fact, she’s currently in Japan on a project with Viu Malaysia.
Earlier this year, the actress was speculated to have been the person who tried to seduce singer-actor Aliff Aziz, who is married to Bella Astillah. The couple has since resolved the matter with Aliff promising to never work with the unnamed individual for future projects out of respect for his wife.
