Accidents during concerts are common occurrences, like when Hong Kong superstar Andy Lau fell into an open hole during his concert in China. Unfortunately, the exact same thing happened to American singer Olivia Rodrigo during her concert in Australia – leaving fans worried for the young starlet.
According to reports, the “Deja Vu” singer was performing in Melbourne on 13th October (Sunday) as part of her ongoing “GUTS” World Tour. During the show, Olivia ran across the stage and greeted the crowd when she stepped into a hole in the ground. The hole was presumably because a stage door was left open by mistake. Olivia’s fall was caught on camera by fans, who all gasped in shock upon seeing the star’s accident.

Thankfully, the 21-year-old could pick herself up and recover from the incident like a champ. As she emerged from the hole, Olivia said, “Oh my god! That was fun! I’m okay!”. After climbing out of the hole, she quipped, “Sometimes, there is just a hole in the stage. Okay, where was I? How are you doing tonight, Melbourne?”. The singer then continued performing, showing no signs of any injury.
Regardless, fans were concerned for the singer-songwriter, hoping she didn’t suffer anything serious from the scary fall. Others voiced anger towards the stage crew who left the door open, saying they should be held accountable for their actions. However, Olivia reassured the worried fans in her own light-hearted way by sharing a video of her fall, comically edited to make light of the situation.

While Olivia assured fans that she was okay, there’s no denying that it was a hard fall. Hopefully, Olivia and her team will be more careful in the future, and we won’t have to hear any more of these incidents again.
