It isn’t very often for Kpop groups to reunite with its original set of members. However, lucky for Super Junior fans, the complete group was spotted together at Ryeowook’s wedding!
It is known that Ryeowook (려욱) of Super Junior (슈퍼주니어) finally tied the knot with former TAHITI (타히티) member, Ari (아리) in a dreamy, fairytale-esque wedding yesterday (Sunday, 26th May 2024). The ceremony was attended by close family and friends including S.E.S.’ Bada and the complete members of Super Junior’s original lineup, which sent fans online into a frenzy.
As everyone celebrated the union with joy, several pictures of the group were seen flooding the internet. Notably, fans were delighted when they found out Super Junior-M members Zhoumi (조미/周覓,) and Henry (헨리/刘宪华) also attended the ceremony, along with former members, Hangeng (한경/韩庚), Kibum (기범) and Kangin (강인). Also at the event were the current active members, Heechul (희철), Yesung (예성), Leeteuk (이특), Shindong (신동), Sungmin (성민), Eunhyuk (은혁), Kyuhyun (규현), Donghae (동해) and Siwon (시원), who all looked sharp in their classic suits.
The wedding itself was nothing short of a romantic affair as S.E.S. (에스이에스) member, Bada (바다) graced the evening with a sweet song. Yet, with all members of the group present, the ceremony turned into a fun and memorable one when Super Junior performed their iconic hit, “Sorry Sorry” which had the bride and the wedding guests entertained as they cheered them on.
Surely, the reunion as well as the performance created a sense of nostalgia among fans on the internet, with several fans finding it difficult to comprehend that the reunion was real. A few netizens also felt emotional upon seeing the members together, with one account even pointed out that the wedding resurrected old Super Junior fan clubs.
