Malaysian actress Uqasha Senrose remains firm on her decision to divorce actor Kamal Adli after four years of marriage. During the couple’s recent court appearance, the star made a shocking revelation about her spouse.
Earlier today (18th December 2025, Thursday), Uqasha and Kamal appeared at the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur Syariah Court as part of their ongoing divorce proceedings. Following their last hearing, the couple went through the Conciliatory Committee (JKP) process. However, it appears that Uqasha is still determined to separate from her husband, revealing the reason behind her choice.
During an interview with local media, Uqasha accused Kamal of domestic abuse, adding that his temper is the reason why she decided to file for divorce. The 33-year-old said she had kept silent about the abuse out of respect for her husband, but said she has lost patience. She claimed that the abuse happened throughout their marriage and even when she was pregnant with their daughter, Hawra Uqaira.
Uqasha also showed pictures of her facial injuries, which she claimed were caused by her husband. She also claimed that Kamal was emotionally abusive, leaving her scared to be around him. The actress’s lawyer, Asheeq Ali Seth Alivi, confirmed that Uqasha filed three domestic abuse reports. Her mother also filed a separate report. The lawyer added that they’ll submit the reports through the appropriate proceedings.
Meanwhile, Kamal denies the allegations, saying he had never laid a finger on Uqasha. He even accused her of making false statements to gain sympathy amid their divorce case. When asked by the media, the 39-year-old said he’s determined to fix their marriage for the benefit of the couple’s daughter, saying he doesn’t want her to grow up in a broken home. Uqasha and Kamal’s next court hearing is scheduled for 11th January 2026.
