There are days where people can really get under your skin to the point where your blood is boiling. Actor Tony Eusoff can relate to such sentiment all too well, claiming that he once wanted to slap another actress.
In a recent episode of Sinar FM’s “Borak Selebriti” podcast show, the actor revealed that throughout his career, there was a local actress who really pissed him off – big time. Tony Eusoff refused to disclose the actress’ identity but hinted that she has since retired from the entertainment industry.
The 47-year-old expressed that the filming process in general is built upon the act of teamwork. During a particular shooting session, this difficult actress arrived fashionably late and left everyone on set waiting. Apparently this diva celebrity would ignore phone calls and text messages enquiring about her punctuality.
Tony Eusoff recalled advising said individual numerous times on the consequences of her actions but it ultimately fell on deaf ears. “If it was a one time thing, I can still forgive her. Perhaps she was sick or went into labor suddenly. However, she would show up the next day without an ounce of guilt yet I gave her a chance,” the actor added.
He added that although her repeated bad behavior frustrated him, he maintained his professionalism and carried on with his job. Her attitude not only affected the director and cast, but the production crew were equally stressed out and frustrated. Since production was already underway, we assume firing the actress would only invite more problems.
The Sarawakian actor highlighted that this episode with said actress was the only terrible experience he had throughout his entire career so far. It doesn’t surprise us that this actress has “retired” from the industry. If you have a reputation for being difficult to work with, no one will want to hire you.
