Nearly a year after registering their marriage, Chinese stars Huang Zitao (黄子韬) and Xu Yiyang (徐艺洋) held their wedding ceremony. Given how luxurious their pre-wedding photos were, it’s no surprise that the event was just as lavish as many expected.
The former EXO (엑소) member and former SM Entertainment trainee held their wedding ceremony on 16th October 2025 (Thursday), ten months after registering their marriage in December 2024. A day before the ceremony, Huang Zitao and Xu Yiyang shared their pre-wedding photos, giving the public a glimpse of what to expect with their ceremony. The couple reportedly held two ceremonies: one outdoor at a garden and one inside a banquet hall.
The outdoor ceremony was also livestreamed via Huang Zitao’s Weibo account, allowing fans to join the celebrations. As shown in photos and videos, the garden was decorated with a sea of flowers, creating a magical visual. There were also large sculptures of the couple’s four dogs, which added an element of whimsy. The highlight from the outdoor ceremony was when Huang Zitao and Xu Yiyang used broccoli for the bouquet toss, amusing fans and attendees.
Meanwhile, the indoor ceremony had a more romantic atmosphere, but was just as dreamy. The venue was adorned with purple flowers and featured giant arches. Similar to their pre-wedding photos, Huang Zitao and Xu Yiyang donned several outfits during the ceremony. The bride looked especially stunning in her glittering, crystal-studded ball gown. The couple’s towering castle wedding cake also grabbed attention.
Fans have since reacted to the luxurious event, calling it the “wedding of the century” in the Chinese entertainment industry. Many also said the couple looked like royalty, especially when they were glimmering under the stage lights. At the same time, the public also shared their blessings to Huang Zitao and Xi Yiyang, wishing them a lifetime of love and happiness.
