Congratulations to Vanness Wu (吳建豪)! Earlier today (Monday, 29th June 2026), the Taiwanese-American singer-actor surprised fans by announcing his remarriage, eight years after separating from Singaporean heiress and entrepreneur Arissa Cheo.
Vanness announced the news through social media, writing, “Every good thing comes from above. 2026 has been filled with so many blessings. Being able to tour again with the boys, being able to do what I love on stage and perform for you all… and now being blessed with the most important person in my life.” The star continues, “I’m truly so grateful to be able to share this love with all of you who have supported me throughout the years.”
The post also included a black-and-white photo believed to be of Vanness and his partner’s hands with their wedding rings. Vanness notably didn’t disclose his partner’s identity. Nevertheless, fans and fellow celebrities extended their congratulations to the newly married couple, wishing them a happy and blessed marriage. The singer’s management partner, B’in Music, also asked the public to respect the couple’s privacy amid this new phase of their lives.
This marriage marks Vanness’s second marriage. The 47-year-old was previously married to Singaporean heiress and entrepreneur Arissa Cheo. The two tied the knot in 2013 and divorced in 2018. Throughout their five-year marriage, Vanness and Arissa faced tons of separation rumours. There were also allegations that the couple had long planned to divorce before splitting in 2018, and lived separately very early into their marriage.
The remarriage announcement comes amid Vanness touring with his fellow F4 members Jerry Yan (言承旭) and Vic Chou (周渝民) and MAYDAY (五月天) member Ashin (阿信). The quartet recently concluded their “F FOREVER” concert in Manila and is set to perform in Kuala Lumpur at the Unifi Arena (formerly Axiata Arena) on 7th and 8th August 2026 (Friday and Saturday).
