The closing down of the longest standing Malaysian publication company Utusan Melayu Sdn Bhd (over 80 years of operation) in October this year caught many of us by surprise.
To bid farewell to loyal fans of their publications, Utusan is holding a warehouse closing sale to sell all of the books and magazines previously published by the company at a very affordable price – as low as 50 cents per copy.
The event is held at Utusan’s warehouse situated in Taman Shamelin Perkasa, Cheras. For those who are not familiar with the venue, they can always refer to Google Maps or Waze in order to get to the location.
Utusan readers as well as book worms who were lucky enough to pay their visit to the event so far have taken to Twitter to share their purchases. Most of them pointed out that the prices offered are very cheap in contrast to the original price of the book.
