#Urbanscapes2014: It’s A Wrap For #Mogwai & #TenaciousD Satellite Shows

Almost back-to-back, the Urbanscapes 2014 Satellite shows featuring Mogwai and Tenacious D respectively left their adoring fans on an all-time high, and all-time amped up for the Urbanscapes finale happening this weekend (6th Dec). Both shows were held at KL Live at Life Centre, Kuala Lumpur and saw a turnout of more than 1,000 fans per show.

Urbanscapes 2014 Satellite Show featuring Mogwai

Scottish post-rock band Mogwai consists of Stuart Braithwaite (guitar, vocals), John Cummings (guitar, vocals), Barry Burns (guitar, piano, synthesizer, vocals), Dominic Aitchison (bass guitar), and Martin Bulloch (drums). The band that typically compose lengthy guitar-based instrumental pieces, delighted a capacity crowd of some 1,100 at KL Live at Life Centre, Kuala Lumpur on 30th Nov.

Mogwai was supported by the opening act of the show, Malaysia’s own “Light! Camera! Actiongirl!” DJ duo.

Urbanscapes 2014 Satellite Show featuring Tenacious D

The Urbanscapes Satellite Show series was concluded with a one-of-a-kind performance by Tenacious D (Jack Black and Kyle Gass) last night. With their funniest songs added to their set list as well as funny onstage antics, the American comedy rock duo delighted a capacity crowd of some 1,800 at KL Live at Life Centre, Kuala Lumpur.

Tenacious D was supported by the opening act of the show, Malaysia’s very own Kyoto Protocol.
