T-shirts are a great way to express ourselves and what we believe in to the world, especially when it’s for a noble cause. That’s what UNIQLO has been doing for the past few years and you can help be a part of it!

UNIQLO had just announced the  launch of their PEACE FOR ALL Charity T-shirt Project yesterday (Thursday, 16th June) following their continuous commitment in supporting peace efforts worldwide. The T-shirts ability to express one’s individuality encourages the global apparel retailer’s desire to promote peace by using specially designed UTs (UNIQLO T-shirts) and raise funds for the cause.

UNIQLO has always provided their assistance to refugees however, with the numbers increasing, the brand has decided to take on a new initiative in their ardent pursuit for peace. Introducing UT PEACE FOR ALL, UNIQLO Lifewear wishes to spread the message of peace across the world and turn everyone’s attention to not just the refugees, but also unfortunate women and children.

“T-shirts have the power to convey a message. Even if you find it difficult to express your own voice, you can participate easily by wearing one of our UTs. The world needs peace now more than ever, and I hope that with UT PEACE FOR ALL our combined voice to promote world peace will grow louder,” says Mr Tadashi Yanai, CEO of Fast Retailing Co., Ltd—the parent company of UNIQLO.

Aiming towards helping those suffering in poverty, discrimination, violence, conflict and natural disasters, Fast Retailing Co., Ltd intends to donate no less than 20% of their profits from the T-shirt sales equally to 3 international organisations—UNHCR, Save The Children and Plan International.

Launch date: Friday, 17th June 2022
