As much as we love official announcements, teasers can be just as exciting. They’re an easy way to draw attention without revealing too much about what might be coming.
That said, many, especially K-pop fans, are quick to speculate about the surprise, and most of the time, they’re right. A concert organiser recently teased fans that an idol group will be coming to Malaysia soon. Who could it be? Let’s find out:

Last night (Monday, 25th August), Live Nation Malaysia shared a video on their social media platforms featuring a countdown on a digital clock. As seen in the screenshot above, the timer stopped precisely at 21:29, accompanied by an alarm sound.
“Tick-tock ⏰ The clock is ticking….something exciting is coming your way, KL!” the organiser wrote. Although the company didn’t provide any further hints, fans were quick to offer their guesses. As soon as the timer stopped at those specific numbers, many immediately thought of one idol group: TWICE (트와이스).

This speculation stems from the group’s song titled “21:29”, which appears on their 2019 album “Feel Special”. Apart from that, the colours used reflects the group’s official colours. There have also been rumours circulating on social media that TWICE may be returning to Kuala Lumpur after 6 years as part of their “THIS IS FOR” world tour.
Even though nothing has been confirmed yet, it seems Malaysian fans who edited those tour posters really have been manifesting this into reality and are now one step closer to seeing their favourite idols live in concert. If the mystery group does turn out to be TWICE, are you guys ready to “Dance The Night Away”?
