Last weekend (Saturday, 11th April), TV3’s news programme “Buletin Utama” reported on Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur (DBKL)’s effort to move a group of homeless people to a temporary accommodation amid the Covid-19 outbreak.

Additionally, the news touched on what would happen to them once the Movement Control Order (MCO) concludes. It came as a surprise when the news ended up reuniting two siblings after bing separated for so many years!

Siapa sangka, dari cerita gelandangan ke Jejak Kasih.

A Twitter user Mohd Faizal Hassan (@f4izalhassan) recently shared a few photos of the screenshot from the news as well as text conversations he obtained from the reporter, Juliana Sharin with the younger brother of the homeless guy, Mohd. Aidi Asyraf. The man reportedly left his family to travel to Kuala Lumpur back in 1996 before he ended up becoming homeless.

Thanks to Juliana’s prompt effort, they were able to get in touch with the man again. As a result, the family got the chance to speak with him. As revealed by Aidi himself, his brother said that he will return to his hometown in Johor once the MCO ends.

For those interested, check out Juliana and Aidi’s conversation as well as the full clip of the news report here:
