Is there trouble in paradise for celebrity couple Farid Kamil and Diana Danielle? Word on the street is that the Malaysian starlet has filed for divorce from her husband, leaving fans in utter shock.
According to local news outlet Utusan Malaysia, the “Imaginur” actress had filed for divorce earlier this month, citing irreconcilable differences and ‘shiqaq’ (longstanding conflict).
The divorce proceedings was reportedly carried out at the Subang Bestari Lower Syariah Court in Shah Alam this morning. However, the “Remp-it” actor had refused to recite the proclamation of divorce. Further enhancing the speculations, it was later revealed that the married couple has been living separately. Following that, Syarie Judge Shukran Yusof had ordered the two to undergo the process of appointing a conciliatory committee (JKP).
The news indeed came as a shock to fans of the two celebs, as they didn’t notice any signs of discord between them. Some of the comments left by them include, “They both look happy together. Hopefully, both of them will find a solution for this matter,” “Please don’t get a divorce. Be patient for the sake of the children. God willing, there will always be a better solution,” and also, “They just performed ‘umrah’ together.”
So far, both Diana and Farid have yet to break their silence regarding the matter. The couple tied the knot back on 3rd November 2012.
