Good things always come in pairs and Hong Kong actor Tony Leung Ka-fai (梁家辉)’s twin daughters are no exception. Just half a year after his eldest twin daughter got married, his youngest daughter Nikki Leung (梁靜曦) recently tied the knot!
Tony Leung Ka-fai officially became a father-in-law in June 2023 and now, his youngest daughter, Nikkie married her boyfriend of ten years on 12th January. And it seems Tony was left emotional witnessing his youngest daughter finally be wedded.
Nikkie uploaded the photos from her wedding ceremony yesterday (14th January) on Sunday as an announcement about her change in marriage status. Reportedly, her newly wedded husband was a finance officer and they had been together for ten years.
One of the pics uploaded showed the couple carrying out the tea ceremony, allegedly in the Leung family’s living room, with Tony and his wife seated on the couch. The photo captured Tony looking despondent and reluctant as he accepted the cup from his new son-in-law.
The scene had one netizen curiously asking if Tony had cried during the ceremony. “Fake crying,” Nikkie responded. “(He was) just kidding.” To which the netizen laughed and said: “Forgot he was an actor.” Others flooded her comments with congratulatory messages, with several praising her for looking beautiful in her wedding dress.
Tony Leung Ka-fai previously shared that he hoped to be a grandfather as soon as possible, adding he was willing to help look after his grandkids. Well, after witnessing his humble character and seeing his love for his kids, we’re sure he’ll make a great grandfather.
Tony might not have shed real tears during his daughter’s matrimony, but still, we’re certain the actor was overjoyed to see his daughter getting ready to live out the rest of her life with her partner. Our congrats to the newlywed couple and we hope they live happy lives together!
