Famous actress Emma Watson has been taking a break from acting after she decided to further her studies. She’s currently working towards her Master’s degree in literature at Oxford, where she also met her boyfriend Kieran Brown. The “Harry Potter” star has been keeping things on the down low in recent years and rarely ever makes official public appearances.
However, it’s been confirmed that she will actually be making a trip to our neighbouring country Singapore very soon! Is it a meet-and-greet event? Is she filming a movie there? Here’s what we know:
The annual Tech Law Fest in Singapore was recently announced and the guest speakers for the two-day event, which will be held at the Marina Bay Sands, have been confirmed. According to the official website, the aim of this conference is to bring together local and international professionals to discuss various contemporary issues related to law and technology.
What caught many by surprise is that one of the guest speakers for Day 2 is none other than Emma Watson herself. The 34-year-old celeb is set to appear during the Breaking Barriers session, covering a topic on diversity, inclusion and the future along with her father, Chris Watson who is a lawyer and Chair of the Management Board of the CMS Technology, Media and Communications sector group.
While this may not be the kind of event that fans would want to attend to meet the famous activist, it’s certainly a way to attract more people to sign up. If you are interested in attending the Tech Law Fest 2024 for Emma’s session then the details are as follows:
