Datuk Seri Aliff Syukri has been living a happy married life with Datin Nur Shahida Mohd Rashid since August 2007. Despite encountering some hiccups in their relationship in the past, the lovely couple has been going strong for years.
That said, the local entrepreneur revealed a shocking revelation regarding his long-term marriage with his wife recently. He shared that he had once thought about divorcing his wife in the past. According to Aliff, there were several factors that led to their relationship turning sour.
“Throughout this 16-year-long marriage, we’ve probably argued for about 10 years, and then for the rest of the six years, we made up. That’s the time I was able to feel the joy of marriage. My wife didn’t understand me, so that inspired me to release a new song expressing that feeling,” the businessman/singer told mStar.
Aliff added, “My wife didn’t understand me because her character is more manly-like, while I am more ladylike. I like to be praised and pampered. In the 16 years of this marriage, maybe the last couple of years, my wife has started being more gentle towards me.”
“During the arguments, I was honestly thinking of divorcing my wife. She also thought the same because at that time I was more focused on my own life and my business. I also didn’t have a lot of friends at that time,” the “Bobo Di Mana” artist said during the chat with the local portal.
