Last month, fans around the world were devastated by the news that THE BOYZ (더보이즈) would be ending their THE BLAZE world tour earlier than expected. Their agency, 100 Label, released an official statement informing fans that their scheduled concerts in Macau and Taipei had been cancelled due to “local circumstances” and that the tour would conclude in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Since then, many have expressed disappointment over the cancellations, as well as concern for the upcoming shows that had been announced. Unfortunately, those concerns became reality when it was confirmed over the weekend that the group’s concert in Kuala Lumpur had officially been cancelled.

On Sunday (5 October), 100 Label issued an official statement informing fans that THE BOYZ’s scheduled concerts in Kuala Lumpur (18th October) and Bangkok (1st November) had been cancelled due to “local circumstances”. This now means that the upcoming show in Jakarta will be the group’s only performance in Southeast Asia. “We once again apologise for the sudden news and the inconvenience this may have caused, and we kindly ask for your understanding,” the company wrote.
As expected, the announcement sparked outrage among fans. Many accused the agency of deliberately sabotaging THE BOYZ’s image through the cancellations and poor management. Others speculated that the agency had breached contracts with concert organiser iME at these locations, thereby forcing the organiser to cancel the performances. Fans also urged the group to leave the agency, noting that the concert cancellations were only one of many issues the company has allegedly caused.

As for the members themselves, Kevin took to social media to personally apologise for the cancellation. The singer wrote: “I’m sorry to everyone who has been looking forward to seeing us in concert. I’m sure many of you made preparations to cheer us on, travel, and hold special events, only to face disappointment. I hope to meet you all in better circumstances next time. Please wait for us.”
Fans responded to the idol saying there was nothing to apologise for, as the members were not at fault. However, they still firmly believe that 100 Label should take accountability for their mistakes throughout the tour. You can find more information on the refund process here. After all that’s happened, will you still consider attending THE BOYZ’s next tour?
