While living in Malaysia isn’t always sunshine and rainbows, there’s no denying that its still a good vacation spot. After all, even our neighbours like to drop by and have fun, as evidenced by Thai internet celeb, Happy Polla!
The 26-year-old icon recently visited Penang to have some fun. Not only did she enjoy the scenic area, she also had a wonderful time savouring local delicacies and meeting people.
Polla announced her surprising arrival in Penang yesterday (24th May) on Instagram. The internet celebrity happily documented her visit, paying special attention to the food. She apparently dropped by several eateries, including the Moody Cow Cafe, Niice Cafe and what looked to be a roadside bak kut teh restaurant.
In addition to eating, Polla also made her way around Penang taking photos for memories. The 26-year-old genuinely looked like she was having fun as she toured the area. Of course, she had plenty of fans who recognised her too. She took photos with some and waved cheerily at others.
Polla also mentioned her trip on Facebook, leaving the caption: “Hello everyone, (the fairy) is here!” She added in her comments: “Always (a) nice place. Nice people. Nice food.” Several celebrated her coming to Penang, joking about it being congested due to her presence. A few politely welcomed her arrival while some urged her to visit other places like Singapore and Kuala Lumpur as well.
Don’t fret if you missed Polla’s brief visit to Penang. Who knows, she may return soon to have another fun-filled trip!
