In celebration of FILA Malaysia’s debut in the country, the iconic Italian sportswear brand held a private event in Sentul Depot where guests got to immerse in the brand’s rich heritage and modern style. Known for its distinctive design and commitment to excellence, FILA is set to make a significant impact both on and off the court with a curated collection of lifestyle apparel and footwear, including dedicated collections for trending sports like pickleball and tennis.
The guest of honour that evening was up-and-coming Thai girl group Gen1es (精灵少女). “Collaborating with FILA is a dream come true for us. FILA is a brand that represents style, performance, and individuality—values we relate to closely. It’s exciting to be able to collaborate with their Italian Sport Couture concept, showcasing not just our talent but also how fashion and music can beautifully merge,” they shared.
When speaking on FILA’s “Bold Moves, Beautiful Play”, Gen1es expressed, “We believe in making bold moves both on stage and in life, which ties perfectly with FILA’s messaging. Inspired by FILA’s heritage of uniting performance with style, we celebrate moments of importance in craftsmanship and athletic excellence. It’s been 8 months since Gen1es debuted after “graduating” from reality-competition Chuang Asia. The journey hasn’t been busy, but nonetheless, it has been rewarding. “Chuang Asia was a transformative experience for us. It pushed us to refine our skills, step out of our comfort zones, and embrace new challenges. The tough training and challenges taught us discipline, teamwork, and the importance of connecting with a global audience. One of our biggest challenges was balancing our individual styles with creating a cohesive group identity. We overcame this by embracing each member’s unique strengths and working collaboratively to establish Gen1es as one entity. We celebrate everyone’s creativity,” Gen1es added.

With the series of its store launch in Malaysia, FILA proudly introduces the exclusive FILA Tennis Club Collection – a perfect blend of performance and style. We also got to experience the FILA Power Serve, a thrilling opportunity to test the speed of their tennis serve and track their record.
