Earlier on Sunday (12th April), a panic-stricken form 5 student dumped his dead girlfriend at her home garage in Felda Keratong 10, Pahang after she was killed in an accident.

Bernama reported today (Thursday, 16th April) that the SPM candidate has since been charged in the Magistrate’s Court for breaking the movement control order (MCO) rule.

He is now being charged under Rule 3(1) of the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases (Measures Within the Infected Local Areas) Regulations 2020. The teen is punishable under Rule 11 (1) of the same regulation that will result in a fine not exceeding RM1,000 or imprisonment up to 6 months or both, upon conviction.

According to reports, the Pahang youngster violated the MCO on 12th April when he drove out of his home at 3am and travelled 127km of Jalan Kuantan-Seremban where the unfortunate accident took place at approximately 3:30am.

The couple was riding on a motorcycle when they hit a buffalo lying in the middle of the road near an oil palm factory. The victim apparently died on the scene after suffering severe injuries while her boyfriend only had minor injuries on his hands and legs. The suspect then carried her on his motorbike before leaving her body in the garage.

The aforementioned suspect, who is the youngest of 9 siblings, was bailed out by his brother for RM300. He will need to appear before court on 11th June for his pending probation case.

This could have been avoided had they just stayed at home.
