It’s been a long wait – but Taiwanese band Cosmos People (宇宙人) is finally returning to Malaysia! The trio recently announced their first concert in Malaysia after six years! The band will perform at Zepp Kuala Lumpur this December, just in time to celebrate their 20th year in the music industry with local fans.
The band recently dropped the details of their concert, “α: Back to the Future (α: 回到未來) in Malaysia”. The concert is part of the band’s 20th anniversary celebration concert tour, which has already taken place in two arena stadiums in Taiwan. Cosmos People will perform at Zepp Kuala Lumpur on 29th December 2024 (Sunday) at 7pm. The concert organiser, ACO Media, also revealed ticket prices and benefits for all ticket holders, including exclusive photo opportunities for VIP Plus and VIP seats.
Cosmos People debuted in 2004 and have amassed a following of fans with their unique musical style. The band has captivated both the young and old with their creative and inspiring music, which often incorporates elements of funk and dance-pop. Their music also won them many accolades, including “Best Band” at the 2023 Golden Melody Awards and the 2023 HITO Pop Music Awards. These awards help cement Cosmos People’s status as one of Taiwan’s best musical acts.
The trio’s last performance in Malaysia was in 2018, so many fans have waited years for Cosmos People to return. Many are looking forward to seeing what the band has in store, especially given that it’s their 20th-anniversary celebration show.
