If you’ve been waiting to see T.O.P (탑) in Malaysia, you’ll have to wait a little longer. The organiser for his upcoming fan meeting in Kuala Lumpur has recently announced that the event has been postponed.
On 12th August 2026 (Wednesday), event organisers StarryLive Ent, Tonz Entertainment and Yvents released a statement about T.O.P’s first fan meeting tour in Kuala Lumpur, “PRE-STUDIO 2026”. In the statement, the companies announced that the fan meeting, originally scheduled for 27th September 2026 (Sunday) at Unifi Arena, has been rescheduled.

According to the statement, the rescheduling is “to ensure the best possible live experience, due to production adjustments”. The new date for the fan meeting will be announced separately. The organiser also apologised for any inconvenience caused by the rescheduling before ending the post: “We look forward to seeing you in Kuala Lumpur soon.”
T.O.P, whose real name is Choi Seung Hyun (최승현), announced his “PRE-STUDIO 2026” fan meeting tour back in July, with several stops across Asia, including Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta and Hong Kong. The tour marks the rapper-actor’s first solo fan meeting since debuting in 2007 as a member of BIGBANG.
Local TOPSXs (T.O.P fans) have reacted to the postponement news, understandably disappointed at the date change. Some also lamented the late announcement, saying they’ve already planned their trip to KL. However, many said they’re okay with postponing the event, as long as it isn’t cancelled.

It’s also worth noting that the fan meeting marks T.O.P’s return to Malaysia after 11 years. The last time the star was in town was for BIGBANG’s (빅뱅) “MADE” world tour. For the show, the K-Pop group performed two back-to-back concerts at Putra Indoor Stadium (now Unifi Arena) on 24th and 25th July 2015.
Too bad fans will have to wait longer to meet T.O.P. However, we hope the organisers are preparing for a better show for the crowd. Stay tuned to this space for more updates on the fan meeting, including the new date.
