Uh oh, Leeteuk just underwent a surgery.
The Super Junior leader was diagnosed with acute cholecystitis today (Tuesday, 24th July), which is the inflammation of the gallbladder.
The official statement from Label SJ reads, “Today at about 5am, Leeteuk expressed severe abdominal pain and went to the hospital. He received the diagnosis of acute cholecystitis. We ask for the understanding of fans, and we will do our best for Leeteuk’s quick recovery and health.”
According to soompi, the condition required immediate attention, and he was admitted to the hospital immediately for surgery. The surgery was successful and Leeteuk is currently resting.
To completely recover, Leeteuk will take a break from his scheduled activities for the week. This includes the SMTOWN concert in Osaka, which will take place from 28th to 30th July.
