In light of the ongoing pandemic, many industries have been bleeding from the inevitable closure. As Malaysia is experiencing an all time high of daily Covid-19 cases, most of us are staying safe indoors.
On behalf of Sunway Lagoon at Sunway Pyramid and Ipoh’s Sunway Lost World Of Tambun, Sunway Theme Parks has stated that it will remain closed until further notice. They’ve even released a love letter accompanied by the following message.

Amidst the ongoing global pandemic, Sunway Theme Parks drew good attention with a heartwarming video on our social media platform. “Stay Home, Stay Safe, Stay Strong” a simple yet beautiful message to pay tribute to all Malaysians united in fighting against Covid-19.
The same heartwarming message is also displayed at the main entrance of Sunway Lagoon to instil a positive vibe among the community. Further north at Sunway Lost World Of Tambun in Ipoh, a billboard of the same message has been erected to keep the positive spirit up as well.
Sunway Theme Parks hope that the number of cases will decrease as our daily vaccination rates increases day by day. Everybody is eager to live the normal life again and all of us at Sunway Theme Parks are excited to play with you again.
Sunway Theme Parks will remain on pause until further notice.”
